To achieve cross flow ventilation through your container you will need a minimum of (2) two vents. A single vent, including a roof mounted vent such as a Wind Turbine, will not provide the necessary flow through ventilation. For hot air to escape your container, cooler air must be able to enter the container to replace the exhausted hot air.
For these reasons we offer a CONTAINER VENT KIT, at a reduced cost, which includes two of our most popular Vent, the Outer Rib Mount Style 52957-O (shown and described below), to provide everything you need to achieve flow through ventilation. Install on the inner "rib" of the wall corrugations, looking on the outside of the container.
The INNER RIB MOUNT style is recommended for containers used for jobsite storage or other uses that may subject the louvers to damage. It installs on an inner rib of the wall corrugations so the louvers will be more protected from damage by the outer ribs on each side of it. However, it is a little bit harder to install for the following reasons;

Install on the flat surface of container doors.
Mount these DOOR VENTS as high as possible on the door where the louvers are less likely to be damaged. Using this vent in conjunction with the wall style vents maximizes air flow. It most likely wouldn’t be blocked by contents of the container. Installation Instructions
