Install on the outer "rib" of the wall corrugations, looking on the outside of the container.
The OUTER RIB MOUNT style is recommended for most vent installations for the following reasons:
- It installs on an outer rib of the wall corrugations, which typically is less dented than an inner rib.
- Since it installs on an outer rib, air can move up the channel of the rib on the inside of the container. Which means even if you have your container packed to the walls with stuff the vents will continue to move air.
- Cutting the hole for this vent is easier, and quieter, since you will be cutting it on the outside of the container where it will be easier to see while setting up and cutting, and not echoing the noise created by cutting the hole.
